Arthur Munn, aged 45 years, a metal worker, was arrested this afternoon and charged with the murder of his wife Lily May Munn at Northcote. He was remanded for eight days.

The arrest followed a postmortem ex animation and a lengthy inquest. AUCKLAND, This Day.

Arthur Thomas Munn, who is charged with the murder of his wife at Northcole on 11th February, is aged 'ls years, and is a well known figure in the public life of Northcote suburb. He is a wick; er worker by trade and was arrested while having'dinner at his home. Hi was formally charged at a special Court held before'.Mr Hunt, 5.. M.. at the Central Police Station, and asked for release on bail, which was refused.
