SACRILEGE IN CHURCHES
ANTI-PROHIBITIONISTS BLAMED

Anti-Prohibitionists arc blamed for sacrilege at churches in Preston and Thornbury, where Bibles and hymn books were burned and electric lights and other property damaged. in one case it is alleged that two men. two women ,and some youths drove up to the Methodist Church and placed tiie sign "Vote yes" outside, then entered and did the mischief complained of.
Presbyterian and Anglican buildings were similarly treated.
