'flie Marlborough Association in reply to Nelson was agreeable for the Nelson junior representatives to play Marlborough at Blenheim on New Year's Day. The clubs are requested to forward nominations for the team to the selector, Mr J. Ross, as soon as possible. The Athletic junior team was granted permission to play a return match with Dovedalc on Boxing Day at Trafalgar Park. The Nelson District Cricket Association advised that the lirst match for the Newman Shield would be played at Nelson on 17th and 18th January, and that tho first "K" Cup mutch would be played at Midland in December. Mr Kinzett complained of the late postponement of the Athletic-Tahuna junior match last Saturday. It was explained that there had been some misunderstanding as the grass had not been cut on the ground. It was resolved to instruct the senior .selector, .Mr T. B. Louisson, to choose two teams to play on Boxing Day—Colts v. The Best.
