IMPROVEMENTS OPPOSED (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. 15th April. The hearing of an application for an injunction to prevent the City Council from proceeding with the improvement scheme m Cathedral Square was begun in the Supreme Court to dav. Nominally the applicant for the injunction was the Attorney-General, but act nail v the application was made by the “Save the Square” Committee, under the chairmanship of Mr George Gould. There was a fair attendance of interested spectators at the Court.
