DAMAGE BY FIRE

OUTBREAK AT BLENHEIM (By Telegraph—Press Association) BLENHEIM, This Day. A fire occurred early this morning in the shop of R. Wooster, painter and paperhanger, in Queen street. The' brigade made a good save, though the outbreak occurred in close proximity to a large quantity of oils, paints, etc. The contents of the shop were insured for £SOO in the Phoenix office. The loss is estimated at £IOO. The premises are part of a block of shops owned bv W. C Nicholson, of Palmerston North, Ihe whole of which are insured for £ISOO in Ihe London and Lancashire office. The damage to the building is roughly estimated at £SO.
