NELSON CENTRE TOURNAMENT THE SEMI-FINALS. The semi-finals and the final of the Nelson Centre bowling tournament are being played to-day on the Nelson club's green in perfect weather conditions. In the semi-finals there were fifteen rinks, Bartlett (Nelson) drawing the bye. Fourteen heads were played. The results up to the time "The Mail" went to press were:— First Round Ching (Wakefield \ 14 beat Stevenson (Hokitika) 11. Roberts (Wellington) 14 beat W. T. Goodwin (Thorndon) 9. Gordon (Seatoun) 24 beat Vitetta (Nelson) 12. Needham (Karori) 11 beat Dempsey (Wellington) 10. Morton (Masterton) 18 beat Whibley (Greymouth) 10. Piper (Maitai) 16 beat Sorenson (Masterton) 13.
