“TALKIE” FILMS FOR NELSON

AT MAJESTIC THEATRE IN THE NEAR FUTURE Air P. A. Herman, chairman of directors of Hayward’s Pictures Ltd., and executive director of New Zealand Picture Supplies Ltd., the lessees of the new Majestic Theatre, informed a “Mail” representative to-day that “talkie” films will shortly make their appearance in Nelson. The necessary apparatus is on order and is expected in the near future for the Majestic Theatre. Air Herman expressed himself deeply impressed with “talkies” and predicted a great future for them.
