WASHINGTON, Bth January. The United States Department ,of Commerce announced that foreign se-
curities floated in the United States in ; 1928 totalled 1,426,000,000 dollars, Germany with 290,000,000 being the greatest borrower and Canada second with 240,000,000.. American investments abroad total approximately 14,000,000,000 dollars, excluding war debts.
