Dr. William Warner, an eminent .American anthropologist, who conducted the investigation and study of Australian aboriginals, declares that the aboriginal here was doomed to extinction in a very short time. There was no place in Australia where white rot oould not be found. The effect of white settlement upon their civilisation was and resulted in social chaos and physical' decay. Nevertheless, the aboriginal was endowed with intelligence equal to that of the white race.
