VANCOUVER, 3rd August. An amazing tragedy has occurred in the office of the “News Tribune” at Waco, Texas. Mrs Robert Ashworth, wife of the cashier of the newspaper, suddenly appeared and without uttering- a won! fired two shots at her husband’s secretary, Miss Charlotte Lawson, killing her instantly. Mrs Ashworth then drank poison and administered doses to her two young daughters, who were with her at the time, the three dying before they reached the hospital.
