.11100,000 BUILDING FOR INVERCARGILL (By Telegraph.—Press *,ssociatiou) INVERCARGILL, 13th July. Dr. Vij.lintine 'attended a special meeting of the Hospital Board to day and slrongly urged the const met ion of a new hospital at. Kew, which he described as an excellent site and would lead to centralisation, of the board's institutions. He described some of the arrangements in the old hospital us abominable, and said he could not approve of reconstruction. The board decided to proceed with a new building to cost abo t £ 100,000 and holding 13S beds.
