The track was heavy. Results : Talavera Hurdles, of 270 so vs; one mile and a half.—l 3 Olympic/9.2, 1; 10 Lady* Gay, *9.11, 2; 3 Erin go Bragh, 9.10, 3. All started. Won by three lengths. Time, 3.1^. Novice. Handicap, of 220 sovs; six furlongs.—s Historic, 9.6, 1; 1 Consent, 9.11, 2;. 6 Veronese, 9.0, 3. Scratched: lMarkmint. Won by half a length, four lengths separating second and third horses. Time, 1.19. Crofton Hack Handicap, of 260 sovs; seven furlongs.—4 Gold Cure, 9.13, 1; 9 Teri, 10.5, 2; 12 Grand National, 9.4, 3. Scratched: Full Mark. Won by a length, three-quarters of a length between second and third horses. Time, 1.37. '
