Senior Sergeant Quinn explained that accused had been at rested at Raknin f-n a charge of unlawful conversion r-f a car to his own use. He was dealt with at Christchurch and admitted to three years’ probation and remanded to appear at Nelson. Plain Clothes Constable Hall gave formal evidence as to the identity of actu c ed.
Accused, who was not represented, and had nothing to say, was committed to Wellington for sentence.
