Regarding a report from South Africa about Alley’s eligibility to play for, tlie All Blacks in the coming tour, the chairman of the New Zealand Rugby lotion. Mr Dean, expressed surprise at the suggestion made with regard to Aliev’s status, i.e., that having once compiled in professional athletics he was debarred from playing amateur Rugby.
