According to a cable received by the vice-president of the Teachers’ College from the Carnegia Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, Dr. James Earl Russell, who for a long time was dean of the Teachers’ College at Columbia University, New York, lias accepted an appointment as visiting Carnegie professor to Australia and New Zealand. He will lecture on education subjects on his visit.
