Aril action to recover an 'alleged debt Of £376 and 7' per cent, interest was Sought before Mr Justice Herdman in e Supreme Court at Hamilton by the Standard Oil Company of America against Morton Dugdale Walmsley, a drainage engineer, of Hamilton, and fornierly a partner in the Suisun Dredging Company, San Francisco. Goods to the value of the sum claimed were sold to the company in 1918, but his Honour held that Walmsley ceased to be a partner in the firm in 1916, and therefore non-suited .the plaintiff.
