A CENSURE MOTION

CANBERRA, ,Bth November. In the House of Representatives Mr Charlton launched a motion of censure on the Government on the grounds, inter alia., of unsympathetic administration of the ' Commonwealth Line steamers. LOSS ON SHIPPING LINE (Received 9th November, 11.15 a.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. The balance sheet of the Common wealth Shipping Board for the year ended 31st March last shows that operations resulted in a loss of over £130,000, the earnings being £1,523,803, and the expenditure £1,654,701. The total liabilities were shown as £6,676,000, and the assets £4,754,000.
