MARLBOROUGH HOUSE
AS PRINCE OF WALES’S RESIDENCE
(By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) ,A.P.A and "Sun")
LONDON, 7th November,
Simplicity dominates the alterations to Marlborough House, which is expected to be ready for the residence of the Prince of Wales bv Christmas. The entrance opens into a salon rising the full height of the house, decorated in gold ami green, ancl magnificently lighted bv_ a Wren dome. The stark severity of the smoking loom is left as King Edward jokingly arranged it. Thousands of dummy hooks line the wall, completely hiding the doors, all hearing faked titles such as “Nine Tails,” by “A Cat.”
