The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board lias received the following market report from its London agency,-dated 4th November, 1927. (Previous week’s quotations are shown in parentheses) : Butter.—New Zealand, salted, 166 s to 1725, closing firmer 168 s to 174 d( 172 s to 1765), unsalted 184 s to 188 s (184 s to 188 s). firmer after considerable activity at lower prices. Australian, finest salted, 168 s to 170 s (170 s to 1745); unsalted 176 s to 180 s (176 s to 180 s). Argentine, finest unsalted 166 sto 170 s (170 sto 1745). Irish creamery, salted 164 sto 168 s (168 sto 170 s); unsalted 170 s to 174 s (172 sto 1745). Dutch, unsalted 182 s to 186 s (184 s to 188 s). Esthonian 174 s (1745). Siberian 150 sto 154 s (150 s to 1545). Danish 190 s (190 s). Retail prices being reduced on Monday to colonial Is 9d, Danish Is lOd. Cheese.—New Zealand white and coloured, 100 s to 102 s up to 103 s (101 s to 103 s). Market very quiet. Canadian finest white and coloured 102 s to 103 s up to 104 s spot, with c.i.f. quotation ranging 92s to 95s October make, 97s to 98s September, but little business. English finest burners’, 126 s to 130 s (126 s to 130 s). Retail prices unchanged. The Board has also received advice from its agents in Canada as follows: — Butter.* —New York 48 cents (2s); Montreal 37J? cents (Is 6|d). Slight improvement in demand.
Cheese.- —Montreal 185 cents (9|d)
