“The Times” Berlin correspondent states that the “Borsen Courier” cites the offer for an investigation of Belgian deportations as a hopeful contrast to the War Memorial, which is being unveiled at Diuant on 23rd August. This it describes as depicting German soldiers aiming their rifles at Belgian women and children, it is insisted that Germany has no reason to shrink from inquiry, which, it is hoped, will extend to other questions. 'Pile German cinema proprietors have, decided to boycott foreign linns distributing anil producing so-called antiGerman hate films. It is asserted that despite assurances the firm responsible for a mischievous film is still exhibiting.
