PROMOTION IN AUSTRALIA

£90.000 TO BE EXPENDED

LONDON, 22nd Aug,

It- is announced that the British Australasian Tobacco Company is joining with the Australian Government to expend £90,000 over a period of eightyears in the proportions of £50,000 and £40,000 respectively, to investigate and promote tobacco growing in Australia. The Government is at present advertising for a directorship of tohaccoi investigations at a salary of £ISOO to £2OOO, duties commencing as soon as a staff is appointed.
