HOSPITAL PATIENT'S DEATH

AN ADVERSE REPORT

(United Press Association)

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The committee of the North Canterbury Hospital Board reported to-day in the" case of Mrs .McKuight, who died from a fracture of the skull after bving discharged and then readmitted to the Hospital. It found that the house surgeon's records were by no means satisfactory ; that there wits lack of careful investigation of the case by the honorary surgeon and house surgeon ; and lack of observation by the sister in charge of the ward. The report adds: "The fret that the patient was discharged did not contribute to her death."
