GENERAL ELECTION IN SEPTEMBER (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) SYDNEY, 10th June. It is officially announced that the closing dale of nominations for the State elections is Ist September and the polling day, 24th September, and Parliament will assemble on sth October. There is a possibility of 17th September being substituted for tho 24th if tho rolls are completed in time. CAMPAIGN OPENED (Received 11th June, 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr Bavin set. the ball rolling in connection with the forthcoming State elections, by opening the Nationalist campaign at Bathurst. He described the Lang Government as the worst that had ever existed in this State, and charged Mr Lang with various acts of gross political dishonesty.
