CHASE BY AEROPLANE
MURDERER HUNTED DOWN LONDON, 29th May. Aeroplanes were used at Osnabruck (Hanover), telegraphs the Strasbourg correspondent of the “Times,” to hunt a murderer who had shot and robbed a bank messenger. Seizing a hag containing the equivalent of £4OO, he. jumped into a waiting motorcar. The police took up the pursuit in cars, while aeroplanes kept the fugitive’s car in sight until the police overtook and arrested him.
