RESCUES SUICIDER FROM RIVER

WANGANUI, 7th May. Fast evening a young woman named Betty Facer, walking across Dublin Street Bridge, noticed a mail jump off tho. bridge into the river. 9be young lady discarded some of her clothing, jumped into the water, and after a struggle with (lie man pulled him ashore. He declared lie was down in his luck and had no friends. She gave him £1 to help him on his way.
