LABOUR SPLIT
IN NEW SOUTH WALES
(By Electric Telegraph-Copyright) Australian * N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received 9th May, 10.80 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The move to launch an Industrial ami Political Labour Party appears to be doomed to early failure. V e.ry little support could lie obtained for the scheme when members of the Parliamentary caucus were canvassed. Both factions contend that there is no need for a new party. The issue between the Seale faction and the majority faction will be fought out when the Federal executive meets at Canberra this week.
