' NtmsfeRYMEN AND THE STATE

"Whil.e- commending the plantation of waste areas by .the Government and municipalities, remits in connection with State afforestation led to a lengthy discussion .... in committee when the New Zealand Association of Nurserymen • resumed the annual conference this morning. -.'.'..
It was ultimately decided to refer the matter to the executive with power to take action to secure a reasonable basis of ending the impasse with regard to the supply of forest trees to the public.
