In the chess tourney, the twelve who have qualified for the final section are: Davies 3; Dunlop 85; Erskine and Moir 2; Roberts, Severne, Kelling, Gyles, lj; Fairbairn, Miller 1; Bullock 0. The discrepancy in the figures is caused by the fact that the scores against competitors who did not qualify are cancelled. AUCKLAND, This Day. Four rounds have been played in the final section 0* the chess tourney, and there is no indication yet of the winner. The leaders are: Erskine, won six, lost, one; Dunlop won lost A-; Davies won 4, lost 0.
