A sensational incident occurred during a 6ports meeting on Saturday when Morrison, a motor cyclist, was competing in an acceleration test against a motorcar. The cyclist attained a speed fifty miles an h om ', but was unable to negotiate a bend in the course. Endeavouring to avoid an obstacle he turned sharply The machine turned completely round, threw the rider clear, reared vertically and somersaulted.
