It appears that deceased tincl two other Maoris left last night in a motor car to. go shearing, when the car ran qver. a. bank, Keefe being thrown out. Keefe, made no complaint of injuries, ahd the. party slept beside the car. On waking in tile morning thev found Keefe dead. It is thought deceased fractured the base of his skull.
