THROWN OUT OF A CAR
A MAORI’S DEATH lUuiteil Press Association.) HASTINGS, 16th Nov. David Keefe, a well-known Maori of Omahu, was found dead oil the Tunanui road this morning. It appears that deceased tincl two other Maoris left last night in a motor car to. go shearing, when the car ran qver. a. bank, Keefe being thrown out. Keefe, made no complaint of injuries, ahd the. party slept beside the car. On waking in tile morning thev found Keefe dead. It is thought deceased fractured the base of his skull.
