NELSON MOTOR CYCLE CLUB
RUN TO PELORUS A muster of 24 members took part in amn to the.Pelorus Bridge.on Sunday. Under the leadership of the club captain, the party left ■ town at 9 o'clock. Before the bridge was reached heavy rain set in, and picnicking being out of the question the party -continued on to Miss Daltons, at Canvastown, where all-were made happy again by a dry.out and an excellent dinner. Music and song formed the chief items of entertainment until afternoon tea, after which a start was made for home, town being reached -about. .7..3C, everyone very wet but ■still cheerful. •■,.->., ] : \ ■
Great praise is due to Mr R. Slinn for the very capable way in which he handled the run, no, speed limits being fractured or tail pipes lost at any stage of the game.
