CONSTRUCTION WITH IHJRRHR During recent veto's a number of folding boats have been devised and these have revealed a varying amount. of utility. One of the most promising collapsible boats t.luii has been devised is the air-inflated craft constructed of rubber. which for some years past has been a standard item of equipment in (he United States Navy and Air Services. Before inflation the dinghies may be rolled in a parcel measuring 18in by 12in by sim, which packs into a carrying case. When inflated tin* length of the boat is 7fl. and width 3ft. Bin, while I lie draught is 2iu.. with two people aboard. 11 is capable of supporting a useful load of 7501 b. There are, two seats and the craft is very comfortable. The rigidity is greater than one would expect, and il is quite possible lo fit a light-weight outboard motor.
