"Daily .Mail" states that a fresh Den du Midi avalanche covered hundreds of yards of forest, blocked Valais road, and demolished the work of the men making a new .channel for the St. Barthelemy torrent under the Sirnplcn railway bridge, over which trains are crawling, the water lapping the rails.
