ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
(United Press Association.) TE AWAMUTU, This Day. A married man named Nicholas Robert Kennedy, aged about 47, attempted to commit suicide at Kiliikilii yesterday by slashing Ids throat with a razor. Kennedy bad been sutiering from influenza and it is supposed that worrying over his illness was the cause of tiie attempt on his life. He was conveyed to Waikato Hospital. There is little hope for his recovery owing to loss of blood.
