VICTORY TENNIS CLUB

CONCERT IN TOI TOI HALL A concert in aid of the Victory Tennis Club was given in the Toi Toi Hall last evening before a largo audience. An, excellent programme was presented and all the items were much appreciated. The following gave items: Miss Naldiev's orchestra; songs, Mrs Hunter. Mrs Jury, Miss Forneaux, Mrs Dickenson and Mr Dickenson; recitations, Miss Talbot and Mrs Godman; monologue by Master Brake; instrumental quartette, Misses Nalder, Kirby, Messrs Burt and Brake ; instrumental duet, mandolin and ukelelo, Mr and Mrs Richards; instrumental duet, guitar and mandolin, Misses B. Cox and C. Morris. At the close of the entertainnipiit Mr Slinn, president of the club, thanked all those who had contributed items.
