Athletic and Thistle did not meet in the above round on account of thfc ground being declared unplayable, and the game will be played, if necessary, at the end of the second round.

Motueka, at Victory Square (referee, Mr H. S. Claughton); Hospital v. Rangers, at Stoke (referee, Mr P. Helsdon); Thistle a bye. July 17: —Thistle v. Rangers, at Victory Square (referee, Mr C. Parkinson); 'Motueka v. Hospital, at Motueka (referee, Mr D. Mallock); Athletic a bye. July 24: —Athletic v.'Hospital, at Victory Square (referee, Mr G. Piper); Motueka v.
