THE NEW YORK TESTS (United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The New York Times has ceased its short wave radio test. Mr Shrimpton, of Wellington, who has picked tip the broadcasted news and supplied it to the Press Association, has received the following from Mr Mcinholtz, manager of the New York Times: "Please accept my personal thanks for hearty co-operation shown in the long-distance short-wave tests just concluded. Starting with this message we will not be on the air for 0400 G.M.T. except o:. Sunday mornings from 040(1 G.T.T. t.V 0700 G.M.T. We hope we can keep the same line up and exchange greetings weekly/'
