A SPLIT AVERTED

LONDON, June 9. The Daily News states that a Liberal split was averted, Oxfordians and Lloyd Georgians, accepting the resolution of the Liberal Federation; not only expressing confidence in Earl Asquith, but at the request of Lloyd Georgians expressing the hope that Earl Asquith would inspire all Liberals in the direction of vigorous social reform.
