ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH

• ENJOYABLE CONCERT A most successful and enjoyable concert and variety entertainment was held in All Saints’ Schoolroom. During the afternoon a sale of cakes, etc., took place, heaclej by lady workers of the 'Church, and together with the concert in the evening, the substantial proceeds were handed over to the Choir Fund, etc. At the suggestion of the Girls’ Friendly Society, in connection with All Saints’ Church, the organist, Mr 11. B. Williams, organised the following appreciative programme :—Overture, Mrs Gubb and Mr Williams; song, Mi- Bourne; recitation, Miss Talbot; song, Mrs Moynilian; song, Mr Treacher; violin and piano, Miss and Mr Rothwell; song, Mrs Williams; toe dance, Miss V. Miller; song Miss Avery; recitation, Miss Skyring; song, Miss Furneaux; recitation, Miss J. Cooke; patriotic chorus, school children; recitation, Miss T. Swanson; song, Miss Carpenter ; Highland fling, Miss Kartell; recitation, Miss Jennings; club swinging. Miss Price; violin solo. Master Knapp; cornet solo, Master Williams. The National Anthem concluded an" enjoyable entertainment. Canon Dartacted as chairman, and Mr Williams was accompanist throughout.
