PROPOSED ALLIANCE

The conference of Trade Unions at London approved of the constitution of the proposed alliance of miners, railway men, engineers, and transport workers, representing over 5,000,000 members for mutual aid and more particularly support for the miners in the present dispute. The matter has been referred to the various Unions to consult their constitu. cuts and report to a further conference.
