V itli reference to the proposed reduction in capital in Waihi, the Gold Alining Coy. Ltd., the attorneys have received the following cable from London: “The result of the recent voting shows that a considerable majority of shareholders favour the immediate reduction of capital by 5s per share. As the English law courts close for the long vacation application cannot he made until October. In the meantime during the English autumn, general meetings will be convened in order to consider and if thought fit to pass the necessary resolutions to give effect to the shareholders’ wishes.”
