BATTLE BETWEEN POLICE AND DESPERADOES

A battle between the police and a gang of desperadoes at Chicago resulted in the fatal shooting of a police sergeant and John Genna, one of the attackers. The trouble arose in connection with the recent assassination of Genua’s brother.
