C. J. Nix won tlie Midfield aggregate. TAKA K A V . WOODSTOCK A match of much interest was fired a! the Woodstock range between Takaka and Woodstock DrTemp Rifle Clubs. The ranges were 200. 300 and 600 yards, and resulted in a win for 'lakaka by the narrow margin of five points. At the conclusion of the match Air ,T. Balek, tins president, of the Woodstock Defence Rifle Club, referred to tins finr spnrtmanship of the Takaka men in travelling such a long distance and Imped that this match would he the forerunner of many more. lie hoped a return match would be fired at Takaka. at no distant date.
