The Colonial Office notifies the formation of the committee fore-shadowed by Mr Baldwin in December, presided over by Sir Halford Mackinder, to deal with the marketing ol Empire products ra Britain and make recommendations. iecarding the disbursement- of the British Government's grant of a million sterling to foster Imperial trade. The committee will first concentrate attention on meat and fruit, from the Dominions. Indian representatives will 'be_ chosen from respective representatives in London. ' , . . Sir Gilbert Grindle, together with an other so far not. elected, will represent the Colonics. Sir Mark Sheldon and Mr McDougall will represent. Australia, and Sir James Allan and Air Forsyth, New Zealand.
