LONDON, March 6. Tile Morning Post’s Moscow correspondent- says that the trial opened in connection with the extraordinary religious sect recently founded in the province of Volhynia. Owing to the persecutions of the church the peasantry were unable to satisfy their devotional needs so formed secret sects in which perverted religious sexual ideas were prevalent. The founder of one sect, a peasant named Kornie, rejects anarriage on the ground that Adam and Eve never married. He preaches that children born ill wedlock are unholy things and must tie killed. Tzimbaluik, a member of the sect having four children, aged from live to fifteen, put them to bed and murdered them with a poker and then set fire to- the house. Kornie, Tzibaluik and other members of the sect- are now being tried. The number of similar secret sects and murder societies springing up in Russia is alarming Sovict- leaders.
