BETWEEN WHITE AND BLACK SEAMEN BLACKS USE TIIEIR TEETH (United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day There was a stirirng struggle on the waterfront last night between some white and some black seamen of the Trebartha end in the consequence three blacks and two whites were arrested. The trouble arose when the men were returning to the vessel a. little after six. Thirty of them were apparently slightly under the influence of liquor and tho fight quickly followed an argument.. The men were still fighting as they boarded ’he vessel and the second officer, who tried to restore order, was bitten on tho hand and leg. One Black produced a razor which he brandished to the distaste of the other combatants, who cooled off. The police arrived before any damage could be done. The white men appear to have been bitten by the negroes. i.T'fori
