BLENHEIM TOURNAMENT

BLENHEIM, This Day. The first interprovirtcial tennis match ever played between’ Marlborough and Wellington resulted in a win for Wellington by sue matches to lour. In the singles Marlborough won lour out of seven matches played, but in the doubles Wellington won all three matches.
In tho’ Marlborough tennis tourney Miss Murison (Christchurch) secured five wins, including the ladies’ singles championship, handicap singles, and combined doubles.
The men’s championship went to Hoilings (Wellington).
"AUCKLAND TOURNAMENT AUCKLAND, This Hay, At tennis in Die boys’ junior singles, third round, N. S. Strut (Auckland) beat R. A. Lucas (Nelson), 6—-0, 6—2.
