RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUE
OPPOSED BY THE DOCTORS WHAT THE SYSTEM TENDS TO Tire Nelson Division British Medical Association, at a meeting on Saturday ist passed the following resolution unnimously : “This division strongly deprecates, in garden city such as Nelson, the introuction of any system of taxation or Ming such as rating on unimproved allies, which tends to closer coneentraion of buildings in a limited area. Such oncent ration means the eliminaton of oen spaces which so largely contribute o the health and. happiness of the popuation.”
