LONDON, Oct. 2 Mr A. M. Phillips, a, New 1 "Zealander, speaking at a' conference of the National Unionist Association at Newcastle-on-ly rie concerning the : Association’s Empire development branch, said a while ago it was suggested he should assemble a band of dominion workers to spread knowledge of the Empire throughout the electorate. He had been most successful throughout the country. He had been speaking at street corners and was now invited by local associations who were asking for dominion speakers and lecturers. Dame Bridgeman said that Wembley had given the campaign a tremendous impetus. • •
