GLYCERINE FOR DIABETES

The patient was found temperamentally unfit to administer injections of insulin, but made no objection when given glycerine: as v*a daily diet in balanced doses. (The -patient, who wa« about to die from his neglect of insulin,. made ;a prompt recovery after taking glycerine, and is now back at work on half-time.
